The Scoop: Update to Cloning Tool
In previous versions, administrators could easily and quickly clone courses – including course content and settings. For a full tutorial on communities, click here.) Edvance360 LMS Version 8.1 now includes an update to enable administrators to clone communities. Communities are used by schools for things like department communication, clubs/sororities/fraternities, chapel, self-service for things like Financial Aid, one-on-one help and tutoring, etc. They are used by corporations to provide a safe place to collaborate, provide access to department resources, on-demand training and expertise, ask-the-expert or ask-a-peer communication, and more.
Now, in Version 8.1, administrators can clone communities. See quick video below.
Communities are a vital part of collaborative and social learning. They also engage learners, making the learning management system something they want to access, not just need to. Many of our clients have hundreds of communities, many of which grew “organically”. If you have any comments or suggestions on Communities, please feel free to share them! We are always looking to improve.
