A learning programs tools, focus, and strategies all figure in to developing a culture that fosters learners who, will, learn better.<\/p>\n<p>Harvard Business Review&#8217;s May article entitled <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/hbr.org\/2018\/05\/learning-is-a-learned-behavior-heres-how-to-get-better-at-it?utm_content=71654626&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_source=facebook\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><em>&#8220;Learning is a Learned Behavior&#8221;<\/em><\/a><\/span>, examines studies and best practices that make it clear that learners are made, not born:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span>&#8220;Through the deliberate use of practice and dedicated strategies to improve our ability to learn, we can all develop expertise faster and more effectively. In short, we can all get better at getting better.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <!--more--> <\/p>\n<p>The article, geared toward those who seek to become lifelong learners suggests readers should organize their goals (it&#8217;s a project to be managed), think about thinking (be more inspective about how you know what you know), and reflect on your learning (let what you&#8217;ve learned &#8220;steep&#8221; a bit). Then shares the following tidbit for elearning program directors:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><span>&#8220;The good news from all of this \u2014 for individuals and for companies looking to help their employees be their best \u2014 is that learning is a learned behavior. Being a quick study doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019re the smartest person in the room. It\u2019s that you\u2019ve learned how to learn.
